Friends of The Gallery

The Friends of the Gallery is incorporated body of between around 120 members. The members actively work to financially support the Gallery by holding fund raising activities and social functions.
The Friends committee hold meetings on the first Thursday of the month.

Volunteers
The 72 Gallery Volunteers are drawn from the Friends of the Gallery and support the day-to-day activities including; Gallery reception and attendant duties, exhibition installation, retail and administrative assistance and catering. Volunteers receive training and orientation sessions from staff and volunteer training officers. The exhibition team receive training from various sources including visiting specialist curators.

Interested in Volunteering?
The Gallery welcomes volunteers to perform tasks such as: assistance with exhibition changeovers, front desk attendance, assistance at gallery openings and special events, public programs, help with catering at events, mail-outs.

As a volunteer and friend you will be part of a valued team of members who help in making our Gallery a wonderful asset to our Community.
