80 PEACHTREE WALK ARCADE
HORTON ST
PORT MACQUARIE

The gallery was relocated from Clarence Street in February 2006 and is now in PEACHTREE WALK ARCHADE as an interim site during the development of the Arts, Conference and Entertainment (ACE) Centre which is due for completion in 2008

Arts, Conference and Entertainment Centre

In the new Arts, Conference and Entertainment Centre development, the Gallery will have three levels. The Regional Gallery will be operating from PEACHTREE WALK ARCADE during the building development.

Currently Council is planning to redevelop the existing site in Clarence St and build a state of the Art Cultural Centre. The Gallery will have 3 levels of exhibition space with excellent workshop, storage and back of house facilities. Architects; Tonkin Zulaikha and Greer are proposing a sweeping Glass façade with an internal timber foyer design reflecting the history and environment of the Hastings. The Regional Gallery will be operating from temporary quarters during the development.

The development will significantly expand Port Macquarie's performance, conference and cultural activities. Six years of intense consultation and planning have lead to this "signature design" and state of the art facility.
